 Andre Gonzales and Carlos Mendoza, both JHS juniors, earned 1/2 day off for good grades. For their half day, they volunteered to come help out teaching spanish at JES. We had so much fun practicing Spanish with them! Muchas Gracias Andre and Carlos! Click here for more pictures |
 Students at JES worked hard making frutas, vegetales and flores to buy and sell from each other during our Spanish Market. They made play pesos to shop with, asked "Cuanto cuesta?" to find out prices, and learned how to negotiate for a lower price. Students also tried fresh-squeezed Jugo de Naranja, just like an open-air market in Latin America! Click here for more photos of the market |
