The following Jefferson Elementary students won the Young Georgia Authors Writing Competition at the system level. Their writing will now be submitted to the Georgia Department of Education for the district and state level contest.

Be a Part of the "Helping Hands" Community

More than 30 valuable team members volunteer each year for the Jefferson Elementary School "Helping Hands" Program. Volunteers visit with their assigned student once a week to tutor, mentor, or even just read a book to selected students. Community members interested in becoming a part of the JES Helping Hands Program should contact Dan Gray at (706) 367-1392.
